Here, Miyake brings to life a fusion of his pleats with Tanaka's iconic graphics. From the very first installment, No. 1, circa 2016. This is literally a double Madame T, with two different head holes, giving the option to wear it so many different ways. Backward, forward, side to side - there is no angle of this amazing, artistic piece that is not noteworthy. Twist it, tie it, drape it - style it to your heart's content. Frame it, treasure it. Color-block sections of orange, green, and grey pleated "chiffon", with the bold image "Sharaku" by artist Ikko Tanaka. Goes over your head and drapes from there, with completely open sides, leaving lengthy tails that can be tucked, tied, or any of the aforementioned. Cape... shawl... poncho... dress, however you wear it, you'll be in love! A rare and magnificent piece of fashion and graphic design.
